Although the Government has done a lot in the extension of health services towards the people, many of the rural poor are still lacking the information and facilities needed to maintain a healthy mind and body. The doctor﷓patient ratio is among the most unfavorable in the world. In fact many of the rural poor go through life without ever seeing, a doctor. This explains why most Of Our people more often than not resort to consulting the traditional “doctors” in order to solve their health problems.

Our plan is not to construct hospitals in order to cover the health gap still left by the government, but to extend general information (awareness) about maintaining a healthy mind and body even in the absence of a doctor. Many of the diseases that affect the rural poor are more than 90% preventable and this is what Action For Humanity is going to preach. We are going to engage ourselves In advocating for primary health care and reproductive health care as the main sub-components of our health program. We are deeply optimistic that our activities in as far as health in the rural areas is concerned will unveil a comprehensive and sustainable Community based Health Care Program.
 

GOALS

1. To improve the general health status of the rural poor/peasants through a capacity building community based network.
