SHELTER FOR HUMANITY

SHELTER FOR HUMANITY

As world-leading experts in the Syria crisis, as Syria Relief, we have worked with the large scale displacement and refugee crises.

  • There are 79.5 million people who have been displaced worldwide, this is almost double the amount of people displaced in 1990.
  • 40% of displaced people are children.
  • 80% of the world’s displaced people are in areas that are affected by acute food insecurity and malnutrition.

We want to make sure everyone has a home. We want to make sure everyone has hope.

Don’t Hesitate,

OUR Shelter PROJECTS

We ensure displaced people have emergency shelter and basic, life-saving and life-sustaining provisions.

In Syria, in 2019, we supported 224,715 beneficiaries through various shelter projects. During the winter seasons we rehabilitated camps and restored drainage systems to protect camps against heavy rainfall.

In Bangladesh, we have provided quality shelters as part of Global Reliefs Eco Village for vulnerable Rohingya refugees housing 893 people in Kutupalong, Cox’s Bazar district.
